Call for Nominations for Annual MCNP Awards

Posted on 2/25/2021 by MCNP Web Editor

MCNP is accepting nominations for the annual MCNP awards which will be presented on May 6th during a Virtual Awards Reception being hosted as part of the 2021 New England Regional Nurse Practitioner Conference.

As we reflect on the contributions of Nurse Practitioners during the COVID-19 pandemic, these awards are a wonderful way to recognize the professional contributions of your NP colleagues and highlight the work that we do as nurse practitioners.

The descriptions for each award as well as links to the nomination forms are listed below. The Awards Committee will review all nominations for compliance with the criteria, and an ad hoc sub committee comprised of selected Awards and Executive Committee members will determine the award recipients.

Deadline for nomination submission is March 31, 2021.

The MCNP Distinguished NP Award recognizes a member who has made significant contributions in at least two of the following categories: professional association activities and contributions, activities supporting the public image of the NP, a role model for excellence in the provision of health care services, significant research which supports the role of the NP, or significant contributions to NP education.
