Now Accepting Abstracts for Poster Presentations at the 2023 New England Regional NP Conference

The Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners is excited to announce that we will be including Poster Presentations as part of our 2023 New England Regional Nurse Practitioner Conference being held IN PERSON on May 4th and 5th, 2023 at the Boston Marriott Newton in Newton, MA.

There will be separate poster sessions on Thursday May 4th and Friday, May 5th.

Poster presenters must be available for two 30- minute live Q & A sessions in the morning on their assigned poster session day (9:30-10 am and 11:00-11:30 am) and may attend the conference and participate in CE sessions that day.

Abstracts will be reviewed by our Conference Planning Committee, and applicants will be notified by email whether their abstract has been accepted.

Abstracts will be reviewed as received, and a maximum of 10 poster presentations will be accepted.

Application deadline is April 1, 2023.

 ABSTRACT GUIDELINES:

Poster presentations must be relevant to nurse practitioner practice and noncommercial in nature and may include content related to scholarly research, innovations in clinical practice, or DNP Quality Improvement Projects.

Poster abstracts must be no longer than 400 words and include title, author, purpose, methodology, results, and implications for nurse practitioner practice.

Abstracts must be submitted with a completed poster application and accompanied by the resume of the presenter.

Scholarly projects that are complete or near completion will be given preferential consideration and applicants with incomplete work are encouraged to consider submission for our 2024 conference. Author(s) may submit more than one poster abstract for review.

Poster Printing Specifications:

• Poster dimensions should be 48 X 36 inches and printed on matte or glossy finish paper suitable for scientific poster presentations.
• MCNP will have easels and backing material for you to display your poster in the exhibit area.
• In lieu of handouts, poster abstracts will be posted to the conference website for attendee viewing and reference. Additional details will be provided if your poster is accepted.
