MCNP Annual Health Policy Event

Please join us for the 2023 MCNP Annual Health Policy Event: Transforming Health Care: Where Health Policy and Politics Intersect.

The event will begin at the UMASS Club/Boston with an educational program examining health policy priorities in Massachusetts and how health policy is translated into action through the legislative process.

Featured speakers include David Seltz, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission and Senator Cindy Friedman, Chairperson, Joint Committee on Health Care Financing.

We will also be presenting updates on federal and state legislation impacting NP practice and tips on engaging with your legislators to impact change. 

The recipients of the 2023 AANP State Awards for Excellence, Senate President Karen Spilka and Nurse Practitioner, Pat Walker will also be honored.

The event will culminate with a walk to the State House where attendees can make drop-in visits to the offices of their legislators. 

Lunch is included and CE credit will be awarded.*  

Tickets for the event are $65 for Students, $75 for Current MCNP Members and $100 for Non Members.
